Kurulus Osman, also known as Bengali Kurulus: Osman (meaning Osman the Founder), is based on the biography of Sultan Osman Gazi, the founder of the Ottoman Empire. This Turkish historical adventure television series, written by Mehmed Bozdag, has gained widespread popularity.

The series also presents the life story of Ertugrul, the father of Osman, from the Dirilis Artugrul series. Turkish actor Burak Özçivit plays the role of Osman, the main character.
